2021 Back-to-School PPE Benefit
The PPE Benefit was developed to help families with the costs associated with returning to in-person school and
meeting new guidelines for health and safety as it pertains to PPE. This benefit is intended for Snoqualmie Tribal
Members attending school, eligible Snoqualmie Tribal Minors, and eligible Snoqualmie descendants currently enrolled in
All applicants must be enrolled members of the Snoqualmie Tribe, a biological minor child(ren) of an enrolled Snoqualmie Tribal Member, or an eligible Snoqualmie descendent.
All eligible applicants should be returning to an in-person learning classroom or facility, must have proof of enrollment in school on file, including the school’s name, student’s name and grade level. The following grade level categories are eligible.
- Early Education aged children must be enrolled in a early education/ preschool program.
- K-12th grade students must be enrolled in school full-time.
- Higher Education or (AVT) students must be enrolled in a degree program, taking a minimum of one class toward their degree program or certificate program, and be earning a minimum 2.0 GPA.
- Scholarship Higher Education or (AVT)- students must be enrolled in a degree program, taking a minimum of one class toward their degree program or certificate program, and be earning a minimum 2.0 GPA.
Maximum Benefit Available per Eligible student: $100.00. All funding must be used towards the purchase PPE for the designated student for the purposes of in-person learning. PPE includes but is not limited to: face masks/shields, hand sanitizer, sanitization wipes, Kleenex, gloves, other PPE items as recommended by CDC for return to school.
The purposes of this program is to provide health and safety items to students who are returning to in-person learning. To qualify for a check; a complete application with supporting documents must be emailed or postmarked no later than June 30th, 2021.
